Ananya Awasthi

Dr Ananya Awasthi is a public health expert and a passionate advocate for translating the timeless wisdom of Advaita Vedanta in ways that speak to today’s youth. She is the Founder-Director of Anuvaad, a research and policy organization dedicated to strengthening India’s health and nutrition systems through evidence-based insights. With a distinguished background in global health and public policy, Dr Awasthi previously led the India Research Centre at the Harvard School of Public Health. A trained Hindustani classical vocalist, she holds a master’s degree in public health from Harvard University and regularly contributes writings and podcasts at the intersection of public health, well-being and Indic knowledge traditions.
